Welcome to our main lodge! This building is the hub of it all at Mar Mac Lodge a wilderness resort on Esnagi Lake in Algoma Country.
Our lodge is of beautiful log construction and houses our main kitchens, guest dining room, employee dining room, our public lounge, tuck shop, summer business office and management living quarters.
We encourage all guests to make use of this beautiful building. Come on in to relax and share stories with our other guests. New for the 2019 season will be a larger, high definition television with HD satellite fed service. We hope to have this new equipment up and running before the first guests arrive. You can be sure you won’t miss any of your must-see games, shows, movies or events due to vacationing off the grid. Interested in pay-per-view event? Just talk to us and we will do all we can to accommodate! Have some urgent business to attend to? This building is where you may connect to our free wifi internet access.
The main building is also equipped with a lovely pool table for your enjoyment, as well as a selection of books, board games, and card games. The tuck shop is always kept stocked with a variety of soft drinks, snacks, tackle and souvenir clothing.
All meals for those on the American Plan are enjoyed in this building. Did you know that those on the Housekeeping Plan may choose to join us in the dining room by purchasing a meal or two (or three!) during their stay? Simply talk to us to learn about the planned menu and choose the meals you are interested in.
Using Mar Mac Lodge as the venue for your corporate retreat? Ask about turning our dining room and/or lounge into your meeting place. We will get you set up, provide food service and ensure you have the equipment you need to make the most of your time.
