Imagine paddling a remote northern Ontario lake without having to bring a canoe full of supplies for making your own shelter and cooking your own meals. Make Mar Mac Lodge your home base as you explore the beauty that Esnagi Lake has to offer!
We invite those who simply want to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life to come enjoy some time in one of our comfortable cottages as we attend to your every need. You need bring nothing but your self on this all-inclusive vacation, though if you prefer your own canoes/kayaks/SUPs, you may make arrangements to bring them along too!
Your Mar Mac wilderness experience begins and ends at the White River Air Seaplane base. Upon arrival on our dock, we will transfer you to your own private cottage for your stay. Once you have settled in, we ask that you join us in the main lodge for a brief orientation.
You will find your cottage fully equipped. All linens, towels and bedding are provided. Your stay includes daily breakfast in the lodge. Lunches are taken to go. You may request a bagged lunch or a shore lunch kit (all you need, including instructions, for cooking your morning’s catch on the shore). Each evening at 6:00 PM join us and other guests in the lodge dining room for our famous home-cooked dinners.
We will point you towards the best places to paddle with high success rates of seeing wildlife. We can direct you to beaches and hiking trails as well. You can even arrange for us to transport you to drop-off and pick-up locations that are further from the main lodge to ensure your holiday includes as much variety as you require.
Your package includes one canoe (and paddles) for every 2 adults. Our canoe fleet consists of Ontario built, Paluski 16ft Passage Canoes. Our friendly dock attendants will ensure your canoe is clean and prepared for each trip out and will meet you upon your return to help safely put the canoe away.
