Mar Mac Lodge is excited to offer our new Discover Fishing package for first time fishing! This all-inclusive, educational package has been created in conjunction with the “Experience Fishing” program and Destination Northern Ontario.
Enjoy the beauty of the boreal forest while you experience fishing for the first time. This robust fishery ensures that even the youngest of anglers will be entertained for hours! In addition to fishing you may fill your time exploring, wildlife viewing, beach combing, swimming, or hiking. For the more adventurous, consider renting one of our stable and roomy canoes for a half day or more.
Your 3 or 4 day Discover Fishing Vacation begins in White River, Ontario
and includes:
- Return transportation to Mar Mac Lodge from White River, Ontario
Two days with a fishing guide who will provide your group with hands-on instruction- ALL fishing gear, tackle, and bait
- Fish processing, and if you wish, a fish filleting tutorial
- A comfortable cottage boasting all the amenities of home
- Daily fresh towel exchange and trash removal from your cottage
- A cooked breakfast each day in the main lodge
- All lunches (to-go style with at least one being a traditional shore lunch cooked over a fire on the lake)
- Our famous home-cooked dinners in the lodge dining room
- Boat and motor combination for every two adults for the entire duration of your stay
- All-day access to the main lodge with satellite TV, WiFi, billiards table, books, cards and board games
