Terms & Conditions


All rates are quoted are per person in Canadian dollars. All rates are subject to HST. Minimum booking is for 2 adults.


In order to confirm reservations, we require a deposit of $400.00 per person Canadian. This deposit can be paid by credit card, personal cheque or via Interac E-transfer. The deposit is non-refundable however it can be applied to future stays at Mar Mac Lodge. Deposits can be transferred to friends or family members for their stay at Mar Mac Lodge.


Trips may be prepaid in advance. Again, prepayments are non-refundable, however can be transferred OR applied to a future stay at Mar Mac Lodge.

Final Payments:

Final invoices will be issued on the day of your departure from Mar Mac Lodge. All invoices are issued in Canadian dollars. Payment can be made using Visa, Mastercard, Canadian Cash or US Cash. Currency conversion will be made at a fair currency exchange rate.

Traveling by Air:

While we do our best to keep to schedule, we are not responsible for any delays due to bad weather. Guests are responsible for any motel and meal expenses. There are NO partial refunds because of shortened stays due to weather and/or no refunds are given due to party cancellation related to weather. Should space be available at the lodge, stays may be extended to compensate for late arrival due to weather. No extra charge will be levied due to late departure because of weather.

Traveling by Rail:

While VIA Rail is usually very good at sticking to schedule, we are not responsible for any late arrivals and/or late departures from Mar Mac Lodge. Mar Mac Lodge will not charge you extra if forced to stay longer than intended and will not offer refunds should your train arrive late. In the unlikely event of a train interruption or cancellation, we will do our best to negotiate fair air travel for you.
