Deluxe Fishing Package
From the moment you step off the plane or train you will know you have arrived at a unique wilderness resort. Choose our Deluxe Fishing Package (formerly our American Plan) and we will attend to your every need.
Your Deluxe Fishing Holiday begins at White River Air. Their professional pilots will provide you with an amazingly beautiful flight over Northern Ontario. When you arrive at our dock, we will transfer you and your gear direct to your own private cottage. Even though you will be dining in our main lodge, all our cottages feature full kitchens just in case you want to brew a cup of coffee or enjoy a late-night snack. Once you have settled in, we ask that your join us in the main lodge for a brief orientation.
You will find your cottage fully equipped. You need to arrive with nothing but your fishing gear and your clothing. All linens, towels and bedding are provided. The kitchens are fully functional with all the amenities of home.
Your stay includes daily breakfast in the lodge at 7:30 AM. Lunches are taken to go. You may request a bagged lunch or a shore lunch kit (all you need, including instructions, for cooking your morning’s catch on the shore). Each evening at 6:00 PM join us and other guests in the lodge dining room for our famous home-cooked dinners.
Your package includes one of our famous 18 foot, hand-crafted, cedar strip boats powered by a 20 HP motor for every 2 adults. Our friendly dock attendants will ensure your boat is fully prepared for each trip out on the lake and will greet you as you return from your fishing adventures. Fish processing for those fish you plan to take home with you at the end of your stay is provided.
At the end of your stay, White River Air will return you to their seaplane base.
Classic Fishing Package
If you do not want to be restricted to our dining room schedule, then this is the plan for you!
Your Classic Fishing holiday at Mar Mac Lodge (formerly our Housekeeping Plan) begins with a flight to Mar Mac from the White River Air seaplane base. Upon your arrival at our dock we will transfer you and your gear direct to your personal cottage for your stay. Once you settle in you will join us in the main lodge for a brief orientation.
Your cottage is equipped with everything you need to feel at home and to prepare your own meals. In our kitchens you will find full sized refrigerators, microwave ovens, toasters, coffee makers and all the dishes, utensils, pots and pans you might require. When you choose this package, you must bring your own fishing gear and your own food for the duration of your stay.
In your cottage you will find all the linens, bedding and towels you require. Each day we will provide you with a fresh towel exchange and will remove your trash. You will be provided with one of our famous hand-crafted, 18-foot cedar strip boats, powered by a 20HP motor for every two adults. Friendly dock service is provided, and you are free to make use of the main lodge’s facilities: satellite TV, pool table, board games, Wi-Fi and more. Meals can be purchased in the main lodge with 24 hours notice. We will process any fish you plan to take home with you at the end of your stay. White River Air will return you to their seaplane place in order you may begin your trek home.
Discover Fishing Package
We are excited to offer our Discover Fishing Package for first time fishing! This learn to fish program is delivered via an all-inclusive package and has been created in conjunction with the “Experience Fishing” program created by Destination Northern Ontario.
Experience an authentic Canadian tradition and create memorable moments with your family and friends at Mar Mac Lodge.
As with all our packages, your stay begins with the transfer from our dock to your own private cottage. Our cottages are equipped with all the amenities of home for your comfort. All linens, bedding and towels are provided. You need to bring nothing but yourself on this stay! We even provide you with fishing gear!
Once you settle into your home away from home, we invite you into our beautiful main lodge building for a brief orientation and to meet your hosts. We will ensure you quickly feel confident and comfortable with the wilderness experience you are about to have.
Your package includes daily fresh towel exchange and trash removal from your cottage, a cooked breakfast each day in the main lodge at 7:30 am, all lunches (at least one being a traditional shore lunch cooked on the lake) and our famous home-cooked dinners in the lodge dining room at 6:00 pm. Two days of guide service and one-on-one fishing instruction are included in your stay as well as fishing gear, tackle, bait, and even a fish filleting tutorial. Your guide will process any fish you catch that you wish to keep for eating or to transport home.
The learn to fish packages run from Thursdays to Sundays and include your flights in and out from White River Ontario.
